So the Dope has a major conniption. It's been kaput for something approaching 12 hours now.

You a Who fan then Roosh? I'm not much of one, but I can spot a Baba O'Riley quote when I see one Mainly because it's on Who's Next, which is the only Who album I own. Top track is Won't get fooled again. "Meet the new boss Same as the old boss"

Ah, that's a great song. I am indeed a Who Fan. WGFA is a great song, though I'm a fan of "My Generation" of course, and then Won't get fooled again. But Baba is a great song in its own right as well. Now I've just "Who are you?" running through my head when i read the mafia games (Don't know if you know that one, as its a bit more recent song but i think it was the theme song at one point to one of myriad CSI shows). Whooo are you? Who? Who? Whooo are you? I really wanna know!

Who are you? I think I own a copy of the single. And I do remember it being a CSI theme. I don't watch much TV so I don't remember which.
Personally, I consider WGFA to be one of the enduring classics. It's my favourite Who track ever, ahead of Behind Blue Eyes.
("And if I swallow anything evil Put your fingers down my throat")
My Generation is OK, I guess. Substitute is pretty good as well. But ultimately most of the Who's music isn't something I was fond of.
ETA : Yattara tells me "Who Are You" was the original series theme. Apparently CSI Miami used WGFA and CSI NY used Baba O'Reilly.

That makes the CSI series cooler in my eyes for sticking with using the who catalog. But WGFA is def. in my top 3 Who songs.... Though I'm really fond of "Tea at the Theater" which i guess could be called their "newest" single as it was off their 2006 album. I've just been on a Who kick because of the VH1 Rock honors- which I thought was REALLY good, if only for the Foo Fighters, Adam Sandler, and The Who themselves playing in it. it was GREAT stuff. So... how do you feel about Rush? (I don't know any songs really by them except for Tom Sawyer, which i LOVE).

I've got their early catalogue; Rush, Fly By Night, Caress of Steel, 2112, A Farewell to Kings, Hemispheres and Permanent Waves.
There's good stuff on most of them; The Spirit of Radio, Trees, Cinderella Man, Natural Science, 2112 (Melodrama and all), By-Tor and the Snow Dog. All worth a listen.
Rush (the first album) is probably the weakest.
